The show is the very reason I signed up to Netflix for and have continued to do so since Stranger Things released in 2017.

I have to start by saying I am really disappointed in this set for two main reasons with the first being the images of the characters. The blue bars though each picture are pointless and hideous and spoils the look of the cards. Initially I thought I may have received a faulty pack, I was looking to return them, until I discovered this is how they are. The blue bar also makes some of the darker cards even more difficult to see than they already are. Its insane to me how this was passed for release with such a hugely popular show. It is like they got these printed on mass and found out on delivery oh this is a disaster but we will run with it anyway as we will loose the money on a re-print. Also Max and Erica have some weird ruff emboss type attempt to them for unknown reasons while b00eing visually impossible to see clearly.

The other disappointment being that this was released during the release of the final season, however all the cards represent the previous seasons and not the current. Why not hold out until you get the entire show represented when its know that this was the final season, it taints its legacy as a result.

The good news is that all the main characters appear and are mostly fairly represented by their scores for each category.

The categories make sense apart from Strength as it seems unrelated to 75% of the characters in the show. Heart, Nerdiness and Fear factor are all relevant to the characters and end up pretty much saving this deck from being a disaster. But even so these categories feel a safe choice.

The fact file/bio is a mishmash between all of the cards, some are good some are bland in introducing the audience to the characters in the show.

Maybe fanatics will overlook the above, but I cannot, but its still based on a fantastic show with some great characters (Apart from the final season) which will still make it a consideration for playing again in future.

I had been monitoring the Top Trumps site and also on Amazon over the past few months since I purchased this and to my surprise this set has been removed from sale from both and re-added at least two or three times from memory. Which was making me wonder if this was a result of re-prints or revisions. Maybe it was strangely sold out on both sites at the same time. Unlikely as it would have said it was sold out rather than not being searchable. Strange indeed, but sadly upon returning their appears to be no difference.
